Department of Commerce
The Department of Commerce was established in the year 1963 with under- graduate course Bachelor of Commerce and forwards its journey with the post graduate course Master of Commerce in 1981. In the year 1989, the department of commerce also started post graduate diploma courses for the students & working executives of the nearby areas of the Durg-Bhilai region.
The Management studies were established in the year 2009 with a clear defined approach for creating quality managers and entrepreneurs required to face the challenges of the business world. The Department offers undergraduate course Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) that is specifically to disseminate academic and applied knowledge in the business management. The course designed to focuses both on academic subjects like statistics or Economics as well as practical business subjects like accountancy, law, management, marketing, finance etc.

Students Seminar
Student seminar are taken as an part of education to fulfill the basic requirement of internal assessment of PG students and also for promoting teaching ability as well as developing self confidence.
Guidance
Teachers of the department are always available for personal guidance to the students especially during their seminar preparation. Both the gender avail the facilities provided in the department equally.
Extra Curricular activities
Students are encouraged to participate in all co-curricular and curricular activities. Commerce Society of department organized various Competitive Activities like – Rangoli, Drawing, Slogan etc. and also gave Memento & Certificate to the First as well as Second winner of the each events.
