This has made biotechnology indispensable in such diverse fields as agriculture, industry, medicine and environmental.
Department of Biotechnology focuses on understanding humans as a biological and a cultural being, through cross- culture perspective. The school of biotechnology under faculty of life science offers an undergraduate, a post graduate and research degree in Biotechnology. The biotechnology is a challenging and demanding course, which requires above average intellectual and dedicated inputs, both by the students and the teachers. The course contents of our department highly specialized and require very clear and fundamental inputs from basic and advanced biology, applied biology and technology.
